6-7 June 2025—University of Regina—Regina, Saskatchewan
Occurring on June 6-7, 2025, Theory Canada 17 will be located in Regina, Saskatchewan, within driving distance (3 hours) from the 2025 CAP Congress. The latter will take place from 8-14 June at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The aim is to foster collaboration and the exchange of ideas across disciplines with research-level but accessible oral presentations. The research areas covered by Theory Canada 17 will be:
- Mathematical Physics
- Quantum Information
- Relativity, Gravitation and Cosmology
- Strings and Quantum Gravity
- Particles and Fields
- Nuclear Physics
- Condensed Matter Theory
Abstract submission and registration
Funding permitting, there will be no fee to attend Theory Canada 17. Registration, however, will be required.
Both registration and abstract submission will be through Indico. More details to come.
Program
The conference program will be available on Indico at a later date.
Travel and accommodations
We are working to arrange accommodations at the University of Regina’s residences. You may indicate, upon registration, which days you would be interested in having accommodations. Please note that this does not guarantee a spot! We will provide further instructions at a later date.
People flying in to Saskatchewan to attend both conferences should fly in to Regina and fly out of Saskatoon. Free transportation for participants from Regina to the CAP Congress in Saskatoon will be arranged for Sunday, June 8, time to be determined. People who wish to drive should be aware that it is an approximately 3 hour drive to Saskatoon from Regina.
